Whats the point?

A great game but seems very similar to the original game however lots of little distractions and bells and whistles which are not even explained.

Its hard to understand why they created a game so similar. Its hard to understand the benefit. As a result there are fewer participants in the original game, resulting in a skew of ratings.

I wish they had a text file somewhere to explain the rules and to explain the justification for splitting the users in half.
